What enrichment does and doesn't do

Knowing the boundaries before you start saves review time later.

What it does

Generates language for seven product fields: product name, description, SEO meta description, SEO page title, AI snippet, intent Q&A, and conversational Q&A. Content is grounded in your existing product data and shaped by the brand guidelines you supply.

What it does not do

No marketplace or ad channel fields

Catalog Enrichment writes to fields your storefront already uses. It does not generate channel-specific copy for Google Shopping, Amazon, Meta, or similar destinations.

For marketplace and ad channel product information, Feedonomics Enrichment covers that work. It generates content shaped to the requirements of individual sales and marketing channels, alongside the storefront and answer engine content Catalog Enrichment produces. The two are complementary: Catalog Enrichment improves the product data on your own store, Feedonomics Enrichment prepares it for the channels you syndicate to.

No storefront-specific content

Content is generated once per product, not per storefront.

What you get alongside the content

Enriched products are scored on accuracy, consistency, and brand adherence, with the specific issues behind each score listed per field. You set a minimum score per factor before the enrichment runs. See Understanding quality scores.

Limits worth knowing up front

  • 250 products per enrichment. Products selected beyond the first 250 are excluded.
