B2B Buyer Portal static string translation and language selector

The B2B Buyer Portal now automatically translates its static UI strings for shoppers, and shows a language selector when a storefront channel has multiple active languages.

  • Pre-translated languages — Buyer Portal ships translations for Danish, German, Spanish (including regional variants), French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (including Brazilian Portuguese), and Swedish, in addition to English.
  • Language selector — a language selector appears in the Buyer Portal header whenever a channel has two or more active languages, kept in sync with the storefront’s own language selector.
  • Custom translation CSV import behavior change — on channels where the default language isn’t English, leaving CUSTOM_VALUE empty for a row no longer stores the English DEFAULT_VALUE as an override. The row is dropped instead, so the string falls back to the pre-translated phrase for the shopper’s language.

This is rolling out gradually to B2B Edition stores; the language selector only appears once a channel has more than one active language.
