# Catalyst Multi-Storefront Overview

> How Catalyst supports selling internationally with multiple channels, each with its own language, currency, and locale-specific URLs.

Catalyst supports selling internationally to multiple countries, where each country has its own language, currency, payment methods, and so on. This requires a Multi-Storefront (MSF) setup.

This overview describes how to manage regional configuration in BigCommerce and present it on the storefront through locale-specific URLs.

## Storefront content

In a multi-storefront setup, you can manage localization settings and content for each storefront in the control panel using the [Channel Manager](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Selling-Everywhere-with-Channel-Manager).

The storefront content to localize includes the following:

* [Products and categories](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Getting-Started-with-Localization-on-Multi-Storefronts?language=en_US#localizing-products)
* [Currency](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Getting-Started-with-Localization-on-Multi-Storefronts?language=en_US#currency)
* [Pricing via price lists](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Getting-Started-with-Localization-on-Multi-Storefronts?language=en_US#localizing-products)
* [Date and physical dimension formats](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Getting-Started-with-Localization-on-Multi-Storefronts?language=en_US#localizing-settings)
* Checkout
* Order statuses
* [Promotions](https://support.bigcommerce.com/s/article/Getting-Started-with-Localization-on-Multi-Storefronts?language=en_US#promotions-comms)

You can localize the storefront theme using [static translations](/developer/docs/storefront/catalyst/features/localization/static-translations).

## Locale-specific URLs

Catalyst supports the following locale-specific URLs that you can use to localize your storefronts. For the pros and cons of each [locale-specific URL](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/specialty/international/managing-multi-regional-sites#locale-specific-urls) structure, see Google's documentation.

Catalyst can service multiple languages by connecting multiple channels to the storefronts and routing each language through different subpaths. For best practices on setting up localized websites, see Google's [Managing multi-regional and multilingual sites](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/specialty/international/managing-multi-regional-sites) guide.

The locale can load data from a different channel through `channels.config.ts`. |
