## Braintree transaction history now reports unsettled refund fallbacks as voids

BigCommerce is rolling out a fix so that when a full refund can't be processed against an unsettled Braintree transaction, the order's transaction history reports the resulting void instead of a refund.

* **Matches what Braintree actually did** — Braintree can't refund a transaction that hasn't settled yet, so it voids the original transaction instead. The order's transaction history now reflects that void rather than reporting it as a refund.
* **Scoped to full refunds on unsettled transactions** — partial refunds and refunds of settled transactions are unaffected.

You may notice this change in transaction history for a small number of affected orders over the coming weeks as this rolls out.
