## API Updates for December 12, 2024

**API**

* We’ve added a platform limit of 40000 zip-type [shipping locations per store](/developer/api-reference/rest/admin/management/shipping/v2/shipping-zones/create-shipping-zones). Users can add up to 40000 zip-type locations to their store.

**Enhancements**

* Added information on how to set up an RSS feed for [release notes](/developer/docs/overview/quick-start).

* Added `CustomerAccessToken` as an optional parameter for the [B2B Storefront Token](/developer/api-reference/rest/b2b/management/authentication/post-auth-customers-storefront) endpoint.

* Updated the Stencil CLI [installation instructions for a Mac](/developer/docs/storefront/stencil/cli/install).

* Clarified the description for the [store/product/inventory/order/updated](/developer/api-reference/rest/integrations/webhooks#storeproductinventoryorderupdated) webhook when updating inventory.

* Added an example showing how a customer can log in to an embedded checkout using the session-sync URL. See the [Customer single sign-on](/developer/docs/storefront/headless/customers) section for details.

* Updated the `sku` description for the [Catalog Products API](/developer/api-reference/rest/admin/catalog/products) to clarify that the SKU has to be unique for products and variants regardless of the letter cases.

**Bug Fixes**

* Removed incorrect required label for `variant_id` from the [Create a Cart](/developer/api-reference/rest/storefront/carts), [Add Cart Line Items](/developer/api-reference/rest/storefront/carts/cart-items/add-cart-line-item), and [Update Cart Line Item](/developer/api-reference/rest/storefront/carts/cart-items/update-cart-line-item) endpoint.

* Fixed broken links in the B2B’s [Key resources](/developer/docs/b2b-edition/getting-started/about-our-apis#key-resources) section.

* Fixed incorrect link for Orders on the [Metafields](/developer/docs/integrations/metafields) page.
