# Delete Cart

DELETE https://your_store.example.com/api/storefront/carts/{cartId}

Deletes a *Cart*. Once a *Cart* has been deleted it can not be recovered.


> #### Note
> * Substitute your storefront domain for `yourstore.example.com`. 
> * The Send a Test Request feature is not currently supported for this endpoint.

- `cartId` (string, required) — This cartʼs unique ID.

### Headers

- `Accept` (string, required, default: application/json) — The [MIME type](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Basics_of_HTTP/MIME_types) of the response body.
