# Customer

GraphQL object

A customer that shops on a store

## Fields

- `entityId` — The ID of the customer.
- `company` — The company name of the customer.
- `customerGroupId` — The customer group id of the customer.
- `customerGroupName` — The customer group name of the customer.
- `email` — The email address of the customer.
- `firstName` — The first name of the customer.
- `lastName` — The last name of the customer.
- `notes` — The notes of the customer. **Deprecated:** Notes aren't supported in Storefront GQL API. This will output an empty string.
- `phone` — The phone number of the customer.
- `taxExemptCategory` — The tax exempt category of the customer.
- `addressCount` — Customer addresses count. **Deprecated:** Use addresses.collectionInfo.totalItems instead.
- `attributeCount` — Customer attributes count.
- `storeCredit` — Customer store credit.
- `attributes` — Customer attributes.
- `wishlists` — Customer wishlists.
- `formFields` — The form field values of the customer.
- `addresses` — Customer addresses.
- `activeCompany` — The customer's active company context, or null when the shopper is not an authenticated customer.
- `metafields` — Metafield data related to a customer.
- `orders` — The Orders for the customer.
- `isSubscribedToNewsletter` — Indicates whether the customer is subscribed to the store's newsletter.
- `notificationPreferences` — The customer's notification preferences. **Deprecated:** Alpha version. Do not use in production.
- `storedPaymentInstruments` — Stored payment instruments for the authenticated customer.
